Welcome to the 2012 Lanark Highlands Forest Rally!
On May 5th, the Motorsport Club of Ottawa presents our 4th annual LHFR. This event will once again challenge competitors and their cars on one of the best driving roads in Canada: Lavant Mill Road, in the heart of the Lanark Highlands just north of Perth and west of Ottawa. We will be running a total of seven stages this year, one more than we ran in 2011.
If you haven't rallied on Lavant Mill Road you don't know how good you really are!
Spectator areas are always improving with a focus on seeing real cars on a real road driving real fast.
We are continuing to work with our sponsors as well as the community through the Lanark Highlands Food Pantry and youth groups to make sure that we contribute positively to this fantastic region. The rally will once again be headquartered in the Village of Lanark at the Civitan Hall which will enable teams and rally workers to access more services and will offer local residents and visitors greater exposure to the event. We thank the Lanark Highlands Township Council and people of the Highlands for their support.
